BIOGRAPHY: Marie Bullock: graduated from UNC Greensboro in 1997 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism. While attending UNCG, Marie worked at the university newspaper, The Carolinian, as a sports reporter and then the Sports Editor. Upon graduation, Marie moved back to Virginia and began her professional career as the Sports Editor at The Suffolk News-Herald. After a few years in that position, Marie moved back to North Carolina to accept the Sports Editor position at The Daily Dispatch in Henderson. After working in print media for a nearly 10 years, Marie decided to return to school to earn a teaching license and has been in education for the nearly 20 years. During that time, earning her Master’s Degree in Education; Marie has since moved into the role of Administration and currently serves as a Middle School Assistant Principal. Marie currently serves with the Media Ministry at Grove Church, mainly with IMAG (Image Magnification), but she is also trained in the areas of Camera Operation and switching, and Live Sound.
