Amber “Ambie Renee” Payton

Amber Payton is a Norfolk native and Summa Cum Laude Norfolk State University graduate who turned her passion for storytelling into a dual career spanning news and music radio on a national scale.

By day, she’s a Nationally Syndicated News Anchor and Director with the Black Information Network (BIN), the only 24-hour national news network dedicated to amplifying stories from Black and brown communities. By night (and in between), she’s Ambie Renee, an iHeartRadio music personality heard across nearly every iHeartRadio station in the Hampton Roads market, including 103 Jamz, one of the top Hip-Hop and R&B stations in the country.

Locally rooted and nationally syndicated, Amber is proof that you can represent the 757 on a national stage!
