Derrick Martin is a media executive with more than 25 years of experience driving revenue growth, leading high-performing sales organizations, and developing strategic partnerships across broadcast, digital, and multimedia platforms. He currently serves as an Account Executive with Nexstar Media Group, representing WAVY-TV 10, FOX43 (WVBT-TV), and EVBT-TV, where he partners with businesses to develop integrated marketing solutions that deliver measurable results.

Prior to joining Nexstar Media Group, Derrick held executive leadership positions with iHeartMedia and Urban One, including Market President and Region President, overseeing multi-market operations and generating significant revenue growth through innovative leadership and talent development. He is recognized for building trusted client relationships, developing high-performing teams, and leading organizational transformation.

A graduate of Tennessee State University, Derrick is an active community leader who has served on the boards of the SSM Foundation Hospital Board (St. Louis), the Virginia Association of Broadcasters, Heat Up St. Louis, and Junior Achievement of Greater St. Louis. He is a respected speaker on leadership, media innovation, sales excellence, and business growth.
